my kitten who ive had for about 6 weeks now keeps coming over to me then padding his front paws on me? sorry i dont eally know how to explain it? its like what a human would do if we were walkin on the step... i would love to know why he does this all the time??

It's called kneading and they all do it. As kittens they do it to stimulate Mum's milk and then in later life you become their Mum, you stroking them is like Mum licking them, so they knead you like they would knead their Mum. Basically domestic cats never grow up.

It is super cute, specially as their little faces look so contetnt when they do it! Makes their paws look so fluffy and sweet!

my cats tend to do this on my OH's stomach just after dinner, we think it's to help him digest his food properly
