Kitty Litter
Pigget is 4 and 1/2 weeks old now, and I was wondering when she should start using the litter tray. She's still being "cleaned" by Bethesda, but I want to get her tray ready.
At the moment we just use normal clay clumping litter, but I read that it's bad for kittens if they eat it (which is all Pigget wanted to do when we introduced her to it, so we've put it out of her reach for now) if can cause them stomach problems.
I was looking at Pets@Home's " Lightweight Non-Clumping Catsan Hygiene Cat Litter" and was wondering if it's ok for her, at this age?
I know she wont be using it until she's on real food, but I know she'll probably still be trying to eat it then!
Thanks!
