Question Kittens hissing at each other

Hi,

We picked our kittens up yesterday and i've noticed today when they are playing that Indie spits at Silver. Should I be worried about this? What does it mean?

Also I can be stroking them and they'll start biting my fingers, whats the best way to teach them that this is wrong?

As said in the previous thread, you will find this information in the sticky at the top of the Cat Training and Behaviour section, called Types of aggression, the signs and how to combat it.

It has a paragraph about play aggression in kittens!

Re: Kittens hissing at each other

Thanks for that. Have had a good read through it.

I just say No to them everytime they bite.

Majority of the time they'll let me stroke them fine but if there in a playful mood and there both playing together this is when they start biting us!

Why do they spit? Is this just when they're nervous? Ther still very anxious of us but im sure they'll learn to trust us over time!

They will eventually cotton on, as you are their mummy now
If they are hissing at eachother, and it's related to when they are stalking or playfighting, they are telling the other kitten it hurts
