How to introduce neighbours Bengal cat to my timid Siamese
We live in a Mansion block and I have 2 Siamese cats who are able to roam outdoors into the shared communal garden. My 2 cats are both timid Siamese and do not go near other cats or humans, but will hiss and growl at anything coming into our flat.
The problem is my immediate neighbour has 2 Bengals and one of them is very large and aggressive towards all other cats. He has attacked my cats quite badly in the past, had a go at me and will constantly try to enter our flat to get at my flat.
My neighbour and I came to an arrangement so his cats went out at night and mine during the day, but now he wants to let his out 24/7. So I need a new solution to protect my cats. My neighbour is willing to find a solution but he really believes cats fight and that's how it is and it's my problem not his.
So my question to everyone is how do we introduce them so his cat doesn't terrorize mine or seriously hurt them as he has done in the past?
The big Bengal is always on our window sill waiting at our cat flap to get at my cats. I have tried the water pistol and even thrown and jug of water at him and he didn't move. He breaking window pots, and when he has managed to get in, he breaks things in the house.
So my other question is how do I stop this bengal coming in to my flat as well, as he seems to not find me and water or yelling a threat at all?
I like my neighbour and I would like all of our cats to get along or I will be forced to give my away due to the stress and injury they will suffer.
