strange cat behaviour

Hi there, wander if anyone can help...

My parents cat has stated acting a bit strange, she has started backing herself into corners in the house even where no one is near her, she never used to act like this. She is an 8 year old neutered female, she was a farm cat for 6 years with out much human contact until my parents got her 2 years ago, since then she has really taken to my Mum and Dad but isnt really keen on anyone else, and is very territorial. She uses a cat flap so comes and goes when she pleases, they have no other pets. Ive also had a look at her bum, tail etc and everything external seems normal. If anyone could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated because my folks are getting a bit concerned.

Thank you, Nicola x

Re: strange cat behaviour

I don't know much about this but I'm wondering if another, more aggressive cat or even a fox had got in through the cat flap, perhaps whilst your parents were out or asleep? It might even be making repeat visits.
