Shakes Head?

My cat Thomas (four-and-a-half) shakes his head every time he meows! It's not an irritated shake, but almost as if it dramatises the meow, makes it a big statement! Don't know why he shakes it. Thought that maybe he might have Tourettes - people get them, maybe animals too. Tourettes is an involuntary movement. I get it. My right hand and arm will flail and my head might shake. My right side of my mouth goes down and even make a gasping sound. It is usually a sign of nerves or stress. I thought Thomas might be having the same.

Anyone got any ideas as to why he does this? The shaking is only a single shake, maybe a double sometimes. It's not rapid or irritated.
