Kitten Question! Help please!

I just recently got two kittens from a friend. They weren't drinking mom's milk at the time, they're close to 12 weeks old if not already... im not quite sure how old they are exactly..

but anyway.. Just recently the kittens have became close to one of my cats (who is spayed and everything) the one cat will snuggle up with her and try to drink milk from her and when i take him away he just runs right back to her..

Is this normal? Is there anything I can do? My cat is letting them try to get milk from her but i dont want them to hurt her..

Re: Kitten Question! Help please!

I shouldnt worry, my kits stay with their mums til they leave home at 14 weeks. Victor (Chaz) is 8 weeks now and although he is eating properly, he still has the odd try at mum's milk bar! I think its more of a 'comfort blanket' for them, rather than actually wanting or needing her milk. They will grow out of it, its a bit like kids sucking on a dummy Are your kit's eating properly as well?
