Wanted British Blue
We lost our much loved Saffy yesterday, she was 18 years old and we adopted her 18 months ago from a charity as her life had gone pearshaped - prior to that we had a 21 year old british blue boy, Oliver. We love the breed.
We are happy to offer a home to an older blue - but we have 7 other cats, ranging from 3 years old to 16 years old - all are ex Cats Protection. We live on a small holding which is fronted by a quiet road, there are barns to explore and lots of ground, but most of our gang stay in!
Saffy was a cantankerous out biddy who we adored - she was tiny, frail, but everyone else was terrified of her. She had a few illness issues and special diets, so we are used to cats with problems. The main thing is that the new cat would need to be confident enough to give the younger boys a bop on the nose and send them packing and not run from them. We would consider a pair so that they had a friend to back them up when introduced to our gang.
If someone has a Saffy out there, we are happy to travel a reasonable distance - we are southern scotland.
