Black/brindle and calico pair
Sadly, my husband and I are separating, and I will be moving into shared accommodation whereas he may be travelling/working overseas--not a good situation for our two lovely indoors-only 4-year-old cats (brother and sister from a rescue cat's litter), who have always had a whole house to roam in. Both are neutered/spayed, and both are FLV+, although the female has never shown any signs of illness. The male had some problems with mouth infections before having most of his teeth removed on our vet's advice. Since then he's been happy and healthy. We have kept both indoors to ensure that they do not pass on the virus to others and that they don't get ill due to infections.
Both are absolutely gorgeous cats, the calico female in particular. I would describe their personalities with new people as shy until they get to know you. They have both been very affectionate with my ex and myself, although they are independent-minded rather than full-time lap-cuddlers.
Our son has offered to take them on but as a university student, much as he loves them, this seems unwise. We would like to find them a caring home, preferably together--and if it was near enough to our son in Leeds that he could say hello occasionally, that would be the best possible solution!
