just wanted to share a few old photos of the cats that have been in my life over the years (havent included foster ones on this just the long term ones that were our family pets)

the 1st pic is Portia, my gran got her and her brother brutus a few months before i was born. me and my mum lived with my gran so i grew up with these 2, will upload pics of brutus once i scan them but he was a lovely black boy. They both died when i was 18 my friend has a black cat identical to brutus next door to her and its very difficult not to steal him he he

in the 2nd pic you may make out 1 long haired cat at the window.. that was my old girl tilly our 1st rescue cat who stayed with us after we rehomed her kittens and she lived to a grand old age of 18 too. the red boy on my shoulder was sprog, his mum maisie is at my feet although its not too clear. unfortunately some sick person killed sprog. maisie ran away when we moved because she hated my dad and i wasnt there as my mum and i had moved first. and there is a black cat beside my dad. she was actually a neighbours cat but she would come to ours for play time with our cats

long post i know and i could probably write a novel on each cat this is how i became a crazy cat lady he he

It must have been nice to grow up around so many cats. We were never allowed any as my parents live next to a busy main road.

the 1st 2, portia and brutus lived in a house with me next to a busy road in glasgow and yeah it was great. at one point we had 13 cats living with us when i was about 7 or 8
