bracken, seven month breakthrough
as you may or may not know we were adopted by bracken in his ninth week ? from the cat protection league where he was rescued from 'the forest' found as a feral with his brothers and sisters

from about day two with us, back in january now, hes always allowed us to pick him up, stroke him etc but thursday saw a completely new breakthrough of which id always hoped

thursday morning he kneaded me for about ten minutes, purring and blinking and lay down right beside me for cuddles...

friday morning, much the same except he actually curled up and fell asleep on my lap !

bracken has become the lapcat i always dreamed of, ok its only been once so far but he loves me enough to fall asleep on my lap, purring and cuddling, rolling on his back for cuddles, you cant beat that !

i nearly dint go to work

update, he lay on my lap this morning (bank holiday monday) for about an hour again









bracken says have a great bank holiday and catch you all soon xxx

So pleased for you that Bracken has become a cuddly cat . I can't sit down without having Mai Tai on my knee but I'm honoured if the grumpy Giz will sit next to me though he will sit on my husbnad's lap

awwww he just gets better and better doesnt he...

Diesel used to be a lapcat...but now he would rather be grumpy on his own.....mardy bum or what? (since we got him neuted im sure of it )

he does however on a night time like to lay in the bed with me and the OH and wash my arm, i dont mind, but he has to get his claws in lol
