Just wondering if anyone agree's with me when i say that i think my cat has a mix of maine coon in him? i got saved him from a hellish farm 18 months ago and he is such a loving wee boy

Ahh he is gorgeous, I love black cats. I would say maybe more Norwegian forest cat rather than Maine coon. Will be interesting to see what everyone else makes of him.

he doesnt really have have the correct profile, ears or eyes to be NFC cross...its not impossible though

i originally got him with his brother - gizmo - but he died suddenly last september
all the vets etc could say was a heart attack (cardiomopathy - cant spell) or blood clot.... i really miss him, and so does joey (we are just about to rescue a little girl from cat charity so he has a pal)

i suspect there was interbreeding on the farm i got them from! the man was just clueless more than anything, i did get cats protection etc to contact with him. there was about 14 of these kittens running around and they were from 2 mothers. my 2 when i took them home obviously had ear mites!!!

they don't have to have the look of the ped cat to be a cross breed etc. i have a 1/2 siamese and he looks nothing like a siamese lol.

both really stunning cats and good for you on saving them from a not niceplace.
