I’m looking for some good photos of different colour cats for a fun blog post I’m doing (because of London Fashion week, it’s going to be “which type of collar goes with your fur?” type thing…). Instead of just dubiously taking photos from Google image search as examples of each colour I’d love to use some “real” cats. I know we have a lot of stunners here so thought I’d ask if any of you have some good photos I could use. I have looked through some of the photo threads but I think it might be easier to do it this way instead of firing off many PMs for permissions, as I’m hoping to write it this evening.

I can’t do every colour or colour combo due to space but I'll probably pick 5 or 6 colours; am particularly looking for all white cats, red/ginger, brown tabby, blue, silver tabby (I am hoping BSH might be able to help me with those two with some photos of Darwin and Willow but am just waiting to hear back from him). Black and tortie are covered by my two I’m afraid!

I’m looking for good quality photos of a decent size (basically not tiny), preferably without laser eyes but we all know how hard that can be!! You could post them here as a reply, give me a link to a thread where you’ve previously posted them, pm it to me or you can find my email address here (sorry bit wary of putting it directly on a forum).

I can’t guarantee I’ll use every photo so please don’t be miffed if I don’t use yours, just see it as a chance to show your beautiful pets off, if nothing else (and we do like to do that, don't we). If you do post/send a photo, please give me the name of your cat and your name (it’s fine if you don’t want to give full name, I will credit you with your PF username instead).

PS - If you have had someone else take photos of your cats, I would need the photographer’s permission as well as yours, so that probably won’t work at such short notice (unless the photographer was Aurelia, that might work out!).
