But is it ok to feed sophie on it she is around 10 weeks old and on whiskas kitten at minute and would like to try her on this but not sure she can have it been so young. Patsy will eat anything so knew i wouldnt have a problem with her .

Thanks for that wasnt sure if it would upset her stomach. When we found her she had been left with adult whiskas food and kitten biscuits so changed her to whiskas kitten meat as i know the adult is too strong for there stomachs wasnt sure if it would be same with applaws.

I weaned Victor on adult Applaws chicken, he dived into it right away without any coaxing. However I do not think it will have the right nutrients for a kit, so I have ordered in a 24 pack of kitten Applaws which I get tomorrow. At least there were no weaning problems with him. After the 1 tin of Applaws he straight aways started tucking into RC babycat biccies. The hard job I have found is keeping mum off his food. Going to have to fetch a little pen down just for him to have his meals in

Thanks for that link. Would that be better for sophie than normal chicken flavour

Pet stall in market orders it in for me. Just ask your little local stall to look in their order book if they can get it. Also the big stores will prob order it in for you to. My larger local warehouse also has it listed and has ordered some in too. They might ask you to pay a deposit on it but I have never had to. A pack of 24 kitten tins I am being charged £13.00. Should be £14 odd I think but get a bit of discount with being on market staff.

Re: Feeding kitten on applaws

It looks good enough to eat yourself. In fact if my freezer ran bare, I think I would cook it up with some white sauce and mushrooms, pmsl
