we're very sad that the stray cat we have been trying to help has carcenoma i cant remember the full name but it is cancer her ears are healing well inspite of the fact she hasnt had the elizabethan collar on at all (she kept getting her arm stuck in it) but the vet is worried the dark lump on the rim of her eye is the cancer he asked all the other vets in the practice if they thought it possible to remove it but sadly it wasnt we have to take her back on wednesday to check on the stitches & hopefully she can be released on friday. All we can do for her now is monitor the eye, i just hope we dont have to make a horrible decision, we have got so fond of her ,we will be gutted

thankyou all for being so lovely at the moment May she dosent seem to be in any pain shes gone very calm & seems very content though she does keep rubbing whats left of her ears on everything (the vet says theyre probably itching because theyre healing)so fingers crossed she continues to have a good quality of life i so hope i've not put her through all this for nothing
