So, my cat will only eat Gourmet Perle. He's a big, active lad & scarfs four pouches a day, and it's getting a bit pricey. I know it isn't the best food for him, but raw isn't an option & I've tried him on alternatives ... either he won't eat them (and have tried all the tricks / techniques) or they make him ill (we had a very bad time on HiLife). He is doing very well on the Gourmet Pearl - tonnes of energy & a soft, glossy coat. So, any suggestions for a cheaper alternative that he might go for? I think it's the tiny pieces of meat in gravy sauce that appeal to him

Have you thought about Bozita chunks in gravy? The food is slightly less pricey, and very good quality. The pieces of meat are not that small, but you can always work on them a little with a fork to make them smaller.
