I'm thinking maybe Alfie's got worms..

I have been using the Panacur paste but he just spits it out everywhere so I'm worried maybe this has lead to him not consuming enough so not killing any worms..

What would you all recommend? Alfie is now 6 months old

drontal is good but its a pill so maybe difficult to give to him , but its worth a try , you get it from your vet

perhaps your not getting the syringe far enough down his throat? you could use mibelmax or drontal tablets.you can get a pill popper from vets so you dont have to put your fingers in his mouth.stronghold spot on kills worms not sure what ones though.

I use panacur paste,i always give a little bit over the recommended dose to compensate for loss,this is harmless.

advocate spot on from the vets is a flea and wormer all in 1 and deals with problems like fox mange and ringworm and all the intestinal worms too its quite expensive but well worth it

Yeh Claire Alfie's a buggar, he wriggles so much and it's difficult getting the paste in, where as Lola is good as gold.. typical boys!

i like advocate as it does everything in one , no good on the very young they have to be a certain age panacures really handy on kittens and puppies

i use mibblemax, they are tiny and they only need one tablet

We use milbemax wormer and frontline spot on flea stuff.

With the wormer I usually hide it in a small amout of grated cheese cause our one cat loves cheese (actually she loves everything )

We bought the pill popper thing from the vets but aren't very good at using it so haven't tried since.

The spot on flea stuff used to drive them mad when we first started using it, but the last few applications have had no effect on them at all.
