Smilla
Following the sad news about food4cats, I have been looking for a good quality wet (or even several for variety) to replace that part of their diet for when my freezer is empty (cry!). My finances are Exciting (about to be all the more so when I return to university in September) so I was looking for one that wasn't too expensive. Bonzita is a name that gets thrown about a lot as being good value for high-meat-content food, and seems to vary between 24 and 32 pence per 100g depending on variety, looking at zooplus. Hi-life I can get in Wilkinson for 31p per 100g sachet.
But then I spotted this: 20 x 400 g Smilla Fish Pot + 4 Cans Free: great offers on Smilla cat food at zooplus and http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/c...r_packs/153602 17 and 19 pence per 100g, amazing, and the incredients list looks good, 55-80% meat depending on variety. However, it almost looks too reasonable, compared to the price of the competition, and I find it interesting it's not a name I've heard anyone on here mention it on the many MANY 'what food do you recommend' threads. Does anyone have any experience with it?
