which dry food

Hi, have used Iams for my cat for many years, he is not fed this exclusively but I would like to stop using it altogether, which kibble would you recommend switching to?

Re: which dry food

My vote is Orijen, because I'm a snob about meat content. I'd rather not feed dry at all ready, but that's not practical for me, so I went for the highest meat and no grains dry I could find (Applaws is higher but it gives some cats dicky tummies and mine didn't like it much). Be warned though, it's kind of expensive (though you DO need to feed less of it)

thanks Kalipha, will consider Orijen, I doubt it is much more expensive than Iams.

Apparently Sainsburys do a dry called Encore which is a cheaper version of Applaws. I havent tried it though.

I saw this in the shop the other day and it does look good - 80% meat i think it said on the packet. however I cant use it until they bring out a non chicken version

I use james wellbeloved - not bad on the meat content, the cats like it and I can get it quite easily from the local garden centre or pets at home which is important as I am not in much in the daytime to take deliveries.
