Re: Just had the biggest fright!!!!

Give them what for! I can't believe how irresponsible the agent was.

It sounds like you have been very very lucky with Betula,& poor little Alfie.

It would make you do something very naughty with the contents of litter tray!

Does the agent have a letter box? D

No bless him he didnt, id have them round scrubbing the carpet themselves if he had!!!

I cant wait to get on the phone in the morning Just cant bear to think if anything had happened to them.

Re: Just had the biggest fright!!!!

Are you cats indoor cats? If so, how lucky that the cat was sat on the doorstep and not exploring the big unknown!

I would go bonkers on the phone to them, ask to speak to the manager and make an offical complaint. When they have keys entrusted to their care, they should do what has been instructed, thats their job for gods sake!

Re: Just had the biggest fright!!!!

I'd be seriously thinking of calling that a breach of contract - they betrayed your trust - that is bad enough for you to perhaps consider working with another agent or at least frightening them with the possibility.

Bee is right - AJ Shep is right - "thick", "morons" - its easy enough to leave a house exactly as you find it and take care not to let cats out - simple enough instructions ..i would have thought ...

Re: Just had the biggest fright!!!!

Yes they are indoor cats however Betula does go out on her harness, she was out from 1pm til 6pm when i got home!! Luckily shes a mummies girl and doesnt like to leave me for too long. But yeh she's a silver spotted ex-breeding bengal queen, she could have well been stolen or hit of anything

I phoned them this morning, had a full blown arguement with the stupid woman, she said oh well we're sorry it wasnt me that did the viewing. I said well you can cancel the viewings im not here for, she said you cant do that we work 9-5 and have to show people round.... So then i exploded I said that whilst I am paying rent for the property viewings will be on my terms and i am quite within my right to refuse you access to my house, i said they had lost my trust and they were not to access the property without me. The nerve of that stupid cow!!

Then i get a phonecall from the woman who did the viewing, it was a lady that i actually like but i was so angry cant say i was overly happy to hear from her! She explained no one had told her about an adult cat just Alfie and that she must have accidently shut the lounge and she was mortified she'd done it. They must have shut him in the lounge to go outside and left the back door open for betula to have got out. Im still so angry, i said she could have been killed! I have still refused unsupervised viewings, cant wait to move now!!
