kitten milk?

Hi, I got my new kitten on Saturday and he is 7 weeks old, the lady I got him from gave me some dried kitten food and said to give him that and water, someone else though has said that he should still be having kitten milk too, I am going to phone the lady tomorrow, I can't get hold of her tonight but what do others think? does he need kitten milk?

Re: kitten milk?

As long as he is eating a good quality kitten food he will be fine.He is quite young however,as long as he`s a good size/weight.you could give him a substitute milk from the vets, but it may upset his tummy.

Re: kitten milk?

Thanks for that, I feel a bit better now, its more worrying than bringing home a baby!! All the things I suddenly think I should have asked! His name is Flash, my daughter named him because as we were discussing possible names my husband was taking pictures of him and he was very intrigued with the flash! I am currently trying to put a picture on but it may take me a year or 2!

Re: kitten milk?

Congrats on the kitten - love the name - can't see any reason he needs kitten milk unless he's very young!

Good Luck with him and have lots of fun
