Re: SHOCKING!! Be warned about IAMS pet foods :(

I didnt realise this was common knowledge already. I thought it was new!! well it has still made me question my cats diets and i am so confused now what to feed them all. I have 10 cats and 2 have sensitive tummies and 1 is fussy so i am thinking of switching to raw. ???

I wouldn't think Iams would be particularly good for cats with sensitive stomachs, since it's not great quality food.

I used to feed iams until my boy started over grooming and the vet suggested it could be something in his food, once I started doing a little looking into it I was horrified I'd been feeding him such crap. Switched him over to JWB, over grooming stopped right away, now they're on applaws both wet and dry. Although I'd imagine if you've got that many cats raw would be a lot cheaper for you if you've the space and inclination.

keep reading more about the iams and other similar brands.

Uncaged Campaigns: Pet food and animal testing

this has some updated lists of which foods are tested etc.
I think i am going to try the raw foods for sure.
