Just started this thread as it was worth a new one for this topic - hope you don't mind.

I would put a new litter tray in the place where she leaves her solid 'little prezzie' and put this prezzie in the litter tray to show here where she may do this.

I guess others will have more suggestions.

Re: for Mum of 5+pets - Gizmo and litter tray

Hiya, did as you suggested last night but still came down to a special little prezzie! I'll keep trying though! I'll wash out the whole utility room tomorrow to completely get rid of the smell (if possible).........any suggestions as to what would work best?

Re: for Mum of 5+pets - Gizmo and litter tray

Make sure you clean double thoroughly-cats have a very high sensitivity for tasting/smelling-yes try something citrusy-some cats actually don't mind citrus stuff but some don't like it at allIs her tray big enough and if it's open she may want more privacy-especially as she now has kitts-she may feel her babies are at risk and wants to feel safer-and telling you by leavin' prezzies is the only way she feels she can tell you-usually when a cat does this it can be for various reasons but usually it's because they're unhappy about something and trying to get our attention-if she's mixing still with her other fur siblings their maybe something going on that isn't obvious to us
