Help for a teething kitten?

My five month old had to go to the vets for something else yesterday and during the examination, the vet noticed he was teething and his mouth was quite sore. He didn't recommend anything medical to help, but I was wondering if you lovely cat experts on here have any suggestions?

Re: Help for a teething kitten?

A friend who had a kitten who had a bad time teething (drooling etc) used these
Petstages Catnip Play Links - £2.50 : Pinky Pawz - Simply ... the cats whiskers!, Pinky Pawz - Simply ... the cats whiskers!
She would put them in the freezer for a little bit and then give them to the kitten who would chewplay with them for a while - it seemed to help. My 11 year old cat, as a kitten, had the most horrendous time teething and the vet did give us something to help but I can't remember what it was. If your vet was concerned I am sure they would have recommended something.

I've just noticed that you can also buy this toy on ebay (search for 'catnip play links') which is what I'm going to do
