Re: Disaster! ALL cats gone off raw ???

Thanks all. Yes, I'm aware of the taurine issue - I did a lot of research before feeding raw. I'm mixing it with hi-life pouches at the mo and they're eating so will just see how it goes!

Now, if I can only get the Pixie Bob to stop weeing behind the sofa....we're sorted!

Re: Disaster! ALL cats gone off raw ???

Sorry, MY wires were crossed I had been reading up on an experiment about feeding cats on just rabbit and one other raw food, and their Taurine levels had dropped. Sorry

Re: Disaster! ALL cats gone off raw ???

No problem

They're eating OK - not wolfing it down like they used to but they seem to be satisfied with less too. I got some thrive treats and have been crushing those up and mixing it in - although they are disappearing fast and at £2.99 per tube they're not cheap! Anyway, as someone suggested - mixing it with a little of something not necessarily very nutritious but tasty will do the trick.

Thanks all
