Re: What do you feed your BSH on a daily basis?

My BSH eats 2 pouches of Natures Menu a day and I put James Welbeloved biscuits down all day. I also give him treats of chicken or fish. He is 8 months old and weights 3.4kg.

Re: What do you feed your BSH on a daily basis?

Mine has 2 pouches a day and dry food freely at the moment but will keep a eye on his weight hes only 9 months old and very lively. But have heard they can put on a bit of weight as they get older and less active. Mine is a big lad for his age but hes solid not fat.

Re: What do you feed your BSH on a daily basis?

The 2 older ones each have 2 1/2 pouches and some dry food each day a long with fresh chicken or a slice of ham for supper
The 18 month old has a pouch for breakfast. Then some of my porridge!
Afternoon a pouch and some dried food, then at night another pouch. For supper a slice of ham or a bit of chicken.
He's not fat, he's very active and i expect when he finishes growing he won't eat so much

Re: What do you feed your BSH on a daily basis?

Just checked and Tesco Finest range:-

Tuna whole meat - 45% min
Shrimp/Mackeral - 4%
With minerals.

Ok, the Shrimp or Mackeral % isn't that great, but the 45% tuna isn't bad.
Also Coley is a good meal and can be got at the bigger supermarkets.

Re: What do you feed your BSH on a daily basis?

Hi, I have an 8 month bsh boy and he weighs approx 4.4 kg and he is big but not fat. I would say Milo sounds fine to me. Mine eats 2 pouches of Hi-Life wet food and 2 small bowls of dried food (the brand changes as I am still experimenting) a day. Never seen a skinny bsh

Re: What do you feed your BSH on a daily basis?

thanks all for your replies, well since I started this thread, I'm pleased to say that he's still on half a pouch in the morning, and half in the evening - and he seems happy with that.

we go back to the vets for his booster in 3 weeks time, so we'll see what his weight is then, and see if things are working out well
