very tired ...

my kitten is very, very tired today following microchipping. has anyone else experienced this with their own cat? is this normal?

No, just microchipping. He's normally so lively, but sice we got home he has been sleeping and sleeping... I woke him up for food, and he ate - which is a good sign! I wonder if this is normal?

I don't even think my cat noticed when the microchip was inserted! And he certainly didn't act any different afterwards either.
Maybe he's just tired after the trip to the vet? Was he very excited or scared when he was there?
I'd keep an eye on him and call the vet if he doesn't get better by tomorrow.
