Re: what do u feed your cats ?

I am gradually moving over to raw - that will work out about 60-80p a day for 4 cats. That's 80p for ALL 4 cats. Other than that I am getting through my supplies of hi-life, nature's menu, applaws, bozita etyc.

Butchers Classic from Wilkinsons or Asda. Very high meat content and no chemicals, plus reasonable price (6 tins for £2.49).

Re: what do u feed your cats ?

I feed mainly raw from here Food4-Cats!, Just Food for Cats Nothing More! plus some pouches/tins like Bozita, Hi Life, Applaws, hardly any dry - just a few treats at bedtime, usually Hi Life, Applaws or Orijen.

Re: what do u feed your cats ?

Raw chicken wings, off the sunday roast. Cooked chicken from the same roast. Raw mince, if I make a bolognese or something similar (Basically any raw meat apart from pork, that I am going to cook), bozita cat food, and orijen for a little treat/snack at other times.

Oh and bacon sandwiches if i do not keep my eye on her. (She will steal them if i put them down for a minute.)

Re: what do u feed your cats ?

For some reason I thought that it was a bad idea to give cats raw meat and fish......

Anyway, mine feed mainly on pouches of fish chunks in jelly. They aren't keen on gravy. They will eat any variety from any supermarket, own brand for cheapness, and they will not touch Whiskas.

They also have tinned sardines, tinned tuna, defrosted value prawns and white cod fillets which I buy frozen and cook in the microwave.

One of my cats knows when we are about to have dinner in the evening and will sit next to my meat eating OH on the sofa staring at him while he eats. He will invariably end up with either a couple of chunks of sausage or a slice of doner kebab on takeaway night. Same cat has been known to like tucking into hummus and marmite, and my bigger cat loves eating sweetcorn straight from the cob!
