just found a lump

i was just strokin tux and theres a tiny lump on his back. he cant feel it when i prod it and it moves under his skin.

any ideas?

It sounds like a fatty lump or absess id get it checked out if no better in a day or so. How old is Tux.

by any chance is he microchipped?

Microchipps can be felt under the skin and sound exactly as you describe - they can also migrate all over the body so theyre not always at the back of the neck!

If not its likely to be a cyst or fatty tissue, best to have it checked out though x

if he has recently been vaccinated and the lump is more or less at the back of the neck, it'll almost certainly be due to the vaccination.

its behind his shoulder blade on the left hand side.

he had his 2nd vacc 2 weeks ago and i dnt think its where it was done altho i didnt see exactly

he's not chipped.
im gonna fone the vets 2moro to see wat they say.

jst abit shocked tbh you dnt exactly expect it

I would think it is a result of the vaccination, in which case it will most likely disappear on its own within 3 weeks or so.

Its probably just a little cyst, but like with any lump its best to have it checked out by a professional xxx
