I have put Dorrie onto the adult food for wet and I am wondering if it is ok to do the same with the dry. Does it have the same nutritional value as the kitten does? She is on JWB dry.

Yes, it will be fine, kitten food usually has the same ingrediants as adult just in a different ratio

Transition puppies to dry dog food!!!
I have been feeding my puppies water soaked dry dog food mixed with canned but now they need to start eating it dry to keep teeth in good shape. But all they do is eat the canned food and leave all the dry. I am worried they are not eating enough now but still they cannot eat their dry food soaked in water all the time! Help!

I'm sure dry food is just as bad for dogs as it is for cats - why worry about getting a puppy to eat dry food if it doesn't want to?!!

I THINK, and it is only think, that becasue dogs do have a thirst drive it's not SUCH a bad thing as in cats. But, I haven't personally done the research so don't know.

I have to confess to buying a very small bag of dry the other day as we were going to be out all day and couldn't find anyone to cat sit at short notice. With MInnii feeding thought we'd best leave something out (the raw goes off after a few hours) - I felt really mean taking it away again as the moggy (boy) loves it! I could see the addiction forming again! I must get one of those timer feeders for the raw. When the other two get here I'll be feeding loads more of it, and especially once I get rid of my backlog of wet (I have a habit of buying in bulk!)
