Health Advice for My Cat

Hi Guys,

Please Help here if you can.. My Cat is approx 2 years old now and slightly overweight (not sure if this is important) lately she has been having what can only be described as mini seizure she makes a terrible sound as if she is about to bring up a furball that never materialises and was arched on her back legs and foaming at the mouth this continues for about a min before she stops licks away the foam and then spends the next five minutes crying and rubbing herself at our feet as if she is frightened. The crying is really loud and continuous. this is now like the third time this has happened in as many months, and just to add our other cat the younger of the two is just as frightened when it happens so stays well away for about 15 minutes before then following her around for the rest of the night...

Any ideas?

That sounds horrible for her! You should take her to the vet to get her looked at.

What has your vet said about the seizures? I presume you have had her checked at the vets, that would be the first thing I'd do.

If you do go to the vet's (which I hope you can!) it would help the vet greatly if you can get a video of your cat's behaviour. It's often hard for us to determine if something is a seizure or not without seeing it.

Hope your cat is ok!
