Caging a cat after an operation

My cat is due to have an operation on his hip tomorrow and when he returns from the vet he needs to be caged for two weeks. Does anyone have any good advice or tips on how to deal with the situation, ways to make the cat more comfortable or experience of how other cats react to seeing their fellow cat in a cage??

They will cry to get out my friends had a broken pelvis and had to be crated for 6 weeks but he soon settled. The vets were good and hired the cage out for 1.50 a day . Dont know if thats good or not..

Ive only experienced them being in the cages at work once having the surgery they seem to get used to it after a couple of days, just pad the cage up and get them very comfortable lots of loves as well
