Re: Ring worm in kittens??
Tell me about it! Vets think it might be but arent sure so are sending a sample off to be cultured (which will take two weeks and also cost £35!!) but gave me some shampoo to use in the mean time which also cost £28!! He said he wasnt sure if it was ringworm but guess time will tell - so am using the shampoo in the meantime. It was an expensive vet bill this time and will be putting in a claim asap!!

Re: Ring worm in kittens??
Fingers crossed that the results come back negative. We are just getting to the end of ringworm infection after 3 months, which has cost us £500 and we are waiting for insurance to pay up. Be careful to wash your hands after handling your kittens until you are sure they havent got it or you could get it too. Good luck with the shampooing!!!

Re: Ring worm in kittens??
oh god thats sounds a nightmare... we havent had the results back yet and prob wont for 2 weeks but i really really hope its not ringworm - argh! I dont have a spare £500 thats for sure... i def didnt expect a kitten to catch something let alone ringworm when its still an inside kitten... We've had such troubles with their tummies since we got them that ringworm would be such a blow for us. FINGERS CROSSED its not.
