Why is it....?

My cat will only eat the rubbish filled 4% meat whiskas pouches and not the good quality 50% pouches I got from pets at home? I'm trying to build her up after her illness and operation and she'll only eat the whiskas stuff. I've tried different brands of food for her and she still turns her nose up at it. Strange cat.

Re: Why is it....?

My two seem to prefer the Hills pouches to HiLife (they get one of each per day to satisfy the gravy requirement) at the moment - but other times they eat it without a fuss. When we are having a roast they turn their noses up at anything that isn't the roast of the day - fussy little buggers.

Re: Why is it....?

Well at the weekend I went to pets at home and bought some Appleaws which is 80% meat! - jinks has eaten some but has turned his nose up a bit! - I then gave him some of his normal whiskas and yep he gulped it down

Re: Why is it....?

It is frustrating me though because I have half a box of Natures Menu left in the cupboard. And I bought her a Whiskas pouch today for her tea and she wolfed it down!!!

I've got nearly a full box of HiLife and half a box of the pets at home purely range and she'll not touch them at all. I even mixed half a HiLife and half a whiskas and she ignored it!
