Lip swollen AGAIN

Mikah's lip is swollen AGAIN! It's not her food bowl. I've tried glass, I've tried ceramic, now I've been using stainless steel. Her lip swells up maybe once every other month and with the other food bowls it would be constantly swollen. What else could be causing this? What else could she be getting into?

I can't afford to keep taking her to the vet! Of course I'm not going to put her in danger; if she has an infection I have no choice but to take her... But every time is $35 for the appointment and Clavamox. The antibiotics work, but I want to know why this is happening!

I hope all of the other cat lovers here can understand my frustration!!!

She also has acne which I clean regularly

Re: Lip swollen AGAIN

I really need help here...

I was able to get a perscription of clavamox filled from the vet but it turned out to cost $52... They gave me two bottles so it lasts 14 days.... I need to get to the bottom of this already.

I want to find out exactly what is causing this. I can't pay for this comfortably. My cat always comes first and I need her to be healthy...
