Re: Metal found in food4cats meat

We sell Rabbit occasionly were I work and they do put a warning on about finding shot in it, probably what it is.

I found a piece of blue rubber glove in a bag of cat food once and what looked like a pubic hair in a ski yoghurt, got a nice £20 cheque from nestle

Re: Metal found in food4cats meat

Update! I called food4cats and the woman I spoke to acted like it was obvious that the wild rabbit would have shot in it, so I suppose the best thing to do is simply to omit wild rabbit from my next order. Perhaps I was a little niave...?

I have to admit that yes I did expect there to be shot in it when I ordered it. Figured cats would act like humans do with wild rabbit - chew it, bit a bit of metal and make a face, spit it out and carry on with the rest.

Re: Metal found in food4cats meat

LOL, I've never thought about it like that. My cats didn't complain and I didn't see any bits of metal in the dishes, perhaps they like metal?
