My cat used to have cat acne on her chin and the vet gave me a clear liquid to bathe it with. I seem to recall this was available over the counter at the time, but can't remember what it was called. Has anyone any ideas? If not, can anyone recommend anything to clean it with.

You can use hibiscrub but dilute it down and wash it off. I don't like using it too close to the mouth so prefer to use antibacterial soap in those
instances.
