No.2's reducing stench!!!

Well i guess the questions in the title....

i know the BARF/raw diet apprently cures most of this....

but any brands that can reduce the stench??

i heard something about go-cat doing some stuff which apparently makes the stuff not as bad...

do high protein content food solve this??

I think it's trial and error sometimes!!!

Purely wet makes candy's poo smell awful and gives her bad smelly wind, she is fine on natures menu, hi-life liver flavour makes her poo smelly but she was ok with the duck flavour

I feed Butchers Classic available at Sainsbury, Asda, Waitrose and Wilkinsons as well as Bozita, available at Zooplus (webbased pet supplier).

Poos do not stink. Poos have a faintly sweet smell or no smell even when just done.

Re: No.2's reducing stench!!!

My cat's poos absolutely reeked and the smell lingered long after the poo was removed when he was on a diet of Whiskas and Iams (I was a new cat owner and didn't know better!). I then switched him to Royal Canin dried food, and honestly the smell instantly disappeared. For reducing, if not eradicating, smelly poops, I can't recommend it enough, and my cat loves the taste too.

My cat also has Feline Fayre wet (high fish/meat content, none of the "min 4% meat derivative" nonsense), as he's a fussy little bugger, and the smell's still gone. You get the occasional mild smell, but nothing like the stench that Iams/Whiskas caused.
