Red face Hello everyone :)

Hey everyone i'm new here So I will tell you alittle bit about myself My names Claire i'm 23 years old, I've owned cats throughout my life since I was 5, i'm currently owned by two lovely moggies named Missy who's 5 and Simba whos 4,

It's been a struggle with there food over the years, when I had missy from the shelter she was frightening underweight, She wouldn't eat ANY dry food or wet food, not even real meat, I had her checked over numerous times, So I took her to other vet for another opinon and he said she had some kind of virus, He gave her some tablets, And she got better but still VERY picky with food the only food she will eat
Is pate style nothing with gravy or jelly. this was a push for me for a long time to get her to eat any kind of wet, Currently I alternate between Hi life pate, and Bozita cans, Bozitas better value feeding the two cats, 1 can a day split between them both. But Missy wouldn't eat that everyday twice a day she does like abit of dry, and going through counltess brands such as orijen, applaws, royal canin, nutro you name it i've tried it She wouldn't take too, but thankfully over the course of having her in my life there is two brands of dry food she will eat, there not the best but there not the worst either,
Hills natures best and Pro plan chicken, For awhile now i've been giving pro plan in the day and wet for them and night, and she's come on leaps and bounds from a bag of bones to almost 4kg in weight! she is a small cat anyway being dumped away from her mother young, shes filled out so nicely it warms my heart up,But I want to know what's best for her in terms of dry, Which is the better brand out of those two?

Honestly i've tried so many different brands in those 5years, and neither of these two make her sick shes so healthy the vet told me its an amazing transformation, i'm so happy with her weight gain, Whichever of this dry is better i'd liketo purchase in the future for her daily feed and hilife and bozita in the evening [there ok too right?]
I've posted a link to each of the foods so you can have a look at the ingredents

Re: Hello everyone :)

Hi and welcome

Purina one chicken and rice is the only food that my Zelda will eat. Occasionally she will have a nibble of beef in gravy but I haven't managed to find a good quality beef/gravy food yet.

Hilife is good but i've not heard of the other one myself. Aber eats hilife every day, shame Zel won't touch it! They can be so picky can't they!

Missy sounds like she's come a long way since you got her You've found something she will at that is good quality so I would stick with it!

I'm not too clued up on the dry food as Aber only eats wet and Zelda's pretty new. I'm sure a more experienced foody person will be along soon

River x
