Hi, sorry don't quite understand? Will the PDSA not accept you?

All you need to do is visit them with a letter stating you are in receipt of benefit and something with your signature on, a credit card will do ... then you can book an appointment while you are there.

I was told that because he wasnt already registered with them then they cant help with this dental treatment.
When he is healthy again I can then register him and get help in the future if I need it. They wont take him on now cos he already needs treatment, so thats no help to me right now unfortunately.

I'm sorry but that sounds like bullsh*t, I would phone head office or another branch & ask their advice, they shouldnt of turned you away like that!

Hope you manage to get the help you need.

Re: what to do in this situation?

I can't believe the PDSA said that to you,

I take Meeka to our local PDSA and they are fantastic, everytime I go there they are always dealing with "new" clients who's pets are poorly and as long as you qualify and are willing to give a donation then they ask the people to take a seat and they will inform the vets and sqeeze them in.

I would do what kittykat said and phone the head office because it just doesn't sound like them.

Re: what to do in this situation?

I would call the PDSA again as that dosn't sound right!

I don't have a PDSA vet in my area but all you have to do is send a form off and they will pay a contribution towards any outstanding vet bill.

I would call head office and explain that you have just taken on this cat etc. and see if they can help then.
