A friend of mine has a Siamese, which, for the second time in a few months, collapsed after yelling out. My friend saw this and thought her cat just dropped down dead but then it got up again and walked away as if nothing had happened. It only last a few seconds at a time but it is the second episode she has witnessed and was most concerned. She will take her cat to the vet soon but I wondered if anybody out there had come across this and what it could be.

Doesn't sound like a seizure - but I have no idea what else it could be - best get it to the vets asap.
