How much should my kitten be eating?

i have two kittens one around 15weeks and one at 9weeks
the older kitten absolutly eats anything!
but the 9week old is really fussy..

when we bought her i asked the owner what they were feeding her they said asdas own cat food,
but as i shop at tesco(no asda near me)
i bought a whole range of food wet and dry..
she only as a nibble at a time and i mean shes there litterly 15seconds and thats it...
but i dont know if i should be doing this ( please dont shout) when im cooking food for my family i usually put some chicken to one side and give it to her(cook) and she loves it plus i gave her some fish today and she was there for 5mins, also with slices of ham... is this bad,,
ive read a article on raw but its abit confusing..

ive got mince can i give her some to see if it works.... Raw???

any idea's

thanks

Re: How much should my kitten be eating?

what foods have you tried her with?

if she is wolfing down cooked meats then maybe the food you've been giving her isn't meaty enough and you need to try something with a high meat content

we feed cooked chicken as a treat if we've had some for dinner so don't worry, i've not given them ham as i'm not sure if its too high in salt for them

i don't really know much about raw but i'm sure somebody else can explain

Re: How much should my kitten be eating?

DRY

JWB lamb and turkey both varieties,
gocat
whiskers
tesco

WET

Tesco pouchs
Whiskers

Thanks ill stop with the ham then,
but id try anything at the moment, she also has a fetish for milk on a morning she jumps on the table and trys to drink all my daughters milk in her cereal (krazy thing)
so i bought some cat milk today so at least shes getting some sort of nutrition

Re: How much should my kitten be eating?

out of the dry the JWB is the highest in meat and in my opinion better than the others you've listed

whiskas is horrid and only 4% meat as are tesco pouches 'i think'

i would get some high meat content wet to try her with
like natures menu, hi-life, purely, applaws, bozita - there are more but those are brands that spring to mind
