Re: New cat owner worries.

I know it's too late now as you have the kitten but I just want to say that whilst you may feel like you are doing the right thing by giving the kitten a home you are actually making it so this person can breed more kittens that are un-well.

By refusing to take sick kittens like this the breeders will be forced to stop what they are doing.

As hard as it is to walk away it's the only way to help in the long run.

Re: New cat owner worries.

EDIT - Just saw your reply. The kitten wasn't as ill as she seemed at first. It was my worrying since I've never had a kitten before. From reading a lot, some kittens are sensitive to certain things, and it takes time to find the balance. This was the case with this kitten. All the other kittens were healthy, and the breeder gave this kitten the exact same things. Just so happens I've got a fussy one

ORIGINAL REPLY - Thanks, maybe I'll give that a try in a few weeks like you said. Obviously I want her to have the best .

Some good news though. She's definitely on the mend. I mean the amount of energy she has now is totally insane. I've always had dogs, and this is my first kitten, and I just can't believe how much she runs around. She's so funny. She's obsessed with fighting my arm at the moment, and loves to sleep on my shoulders lol And the things she finds to play with. Things I didn't even know I had in my house!

Sounds like lil one is on the mend
Don't like giving any milk/water is my choice. Totaly against dry.
Are you going to put pic's up for us to see?
Good luck with your lil bomb shell bundle.

Re: New cat owner worries.

I must admit, I don't like the idea of dry food. Doesn't seem nice for her to eat dry all the time. Maybe as she grows older I can change?

And here's a pic of her Click!

Excuse my scruffyness on the left
