The flats where I live have a big mouse problem which in our case is controlled by our cat. i know the lady in the flat below is due to get the pest control in and i am very concerned about our cat eating a poisoned mouse.. does anyone have any information on this please?

When you see the pest control guy. Ask him if he uses a first kill poison. Where I am it is against the law (although I do believe some people still use it) to use a poison that can second kill. That means eg: the poison kills the mouse the mouse kills the cat the cat kills the coyote etc. In a one kill poison it kills the rodent not the the cat if it finds it.
