buggybugs...

I'm going to apologise in advance if i'm being really thick, but am hoping someone can help me. For the last few months, my cat Saffy has been scratching loads - I've made sure her flea treatment is up to date with Frontline and she is an indoor cat so wouldn't pick up anything else like that. In the last few days, I've noticed a few black wriggly things on the towel she sleeps on - they are minute and curl round, and one end has a transparent 'coating' on it. To me, this seems like flea larvae or something but she is up to date with Frontline so I don't see how it can be. So now I'm imagining it's something awful, and am hoping someone on here can help put my mind at rest. I have made a vet appointment for Thursday but can't stop thinking about what it could be...

Thank you in advance for any help anyone can offer.

Very worried kitty mummy

Don't have any other pets, and not around people who have dogs either. Apply spot on frontline every month
