Natures Menu

Hi everyone, all my kitties love natures menu and have been doing well on it, however it gives 1 of my kitties really bad smelling poop! The poop itself is firm and healthy lol (sorry) but its just the smell!! Also I have noticed the past week that he has been pooping loads!! I am forever sifting through the tray - you can smell it in the whole house and he uses a covered litter tray in the conservatory!

I have taken him off this the past 2 days and he is eating Applaws dry only at the moment and I've not noticed as much poop and its not smelly however I was wondering if anyone elses cat had the same reaction to it? as I know its a good food.

My Millie's poop STINKS.

She only has natures menu too so it could just be the type of food.

Re: Natures Menu

Yes, we had this with Natures Menu.

We've now switched to Tesco's luxury and that seems better. Mind you some of our cats have only raw, with suppliments, and they are even better.

I had this with Betula when they changed the recipe of natures menu, mine are now on hi-life and tesco luxury.

Re: Natures Menu

so far so good here on the natures menu but candy got really bad smelly poo and smelly wind with purely pouches so i am guessing it was the tapioca starch in them that didn't agree with her

Oh really? They did like hi-life too so will try them again on that also, I am surprised it was that smelly to be honest as I thought it was really good food!
