Cat Food For Kittens And What Amount??

Hi everyone,

I wonder if someone can give me some advise. I have asked around in work but am getting different opinions. Tosca is just over 6 months old. I had him neutered a couple of weeks ago. He totally went off kitten food!! I tried him on everything and he turned his nose up at all the different meals. I have a few boxes of food to take back to Pets at Home tomorrow.. Anyway I picked up Feline Fayre, which is for cats, at the supermarket and he really loves it. He loves all the various flavours.. I am confused as I hope he is ok to eat this bearing in mind he is just over 6 months old At the moment I am feeding him 2 x 84 gram pouches a day plus 25 grams of James Wellbeloved for snacks! Is this too much or too less?? He still wants to eat after his meals as well and wants my dinner! I wormed him last Saturday...HELP!!!!

Hiya To be honest there is not alot of difference between cat & kitten food. I have been feeding my 2 kittens adult food for a while now and they are 3 and 4 months old. Feline Fayre is a good food also so I would go ahead with the 2 pouches a day and just leave the dry food topped up all day so if he's hungry he can eat that.

Hi,
Thanks very much for your reply. I get so worried about everything! The kitten food just looked like mush! No wonder he doesn't eat it..
