Natures Menu
Me again
![]() We've been feeding our kittens on Natures Menu Chicken kitten pouches, i've just spotted that p@h have the adult chicken & turkey pouches on offer. The nutritional info is identical for both the kitten and adult pouches so would we do any harm if we were to get them the adult pouches? Also, Hills science plan kitten biscuits are on offer - are they good? Currently using a mix of JWB and Iams which we were thinking of changing when they run out. Thanks ![]() |

Re: Natures Menu
thanks for your reply cazza, they look the same ingredient wise too except the kitten is just chicken and the adult is chicken and turkey.
i'm only thinking about it because the nutritional info is the same |

Re: Natures Menu
kitten food is a gimick - especially in this case when you can read that there is no difference, go for the adult version.

Re: Natures Menu
Well I was thinking about it because the choice of quality kitten food for her is limited and there is a lot more choice in the adult section. Even in Tesco today there was choice in the adult and none in the kitten, unless I want to keep her on the Whiskas or Felix, which I don't!

Re: Natures Menu
Well I thought this as I was in Pets @ home the other day and I was going to try Dorrie on some Applaws for adult cats and was advised against it by a staff member.

Re: Natures Menu
Applaws is actually the one thing where the kitten food is bette,r as the adult version isn't 'complete' and shouldn't be fed as a sole source of food. In this case the guy was right as the kitten food is complete.
Confusing eh? ![]()
