what is the adult food like? wondered if its pate like the kitten or chunks?

thanks for everyones opinions, i think we will take advantage of the adult version being on offer as it has the same nutritional info but will make sure we check other brands if we plan to do this again

Re: Natures Menu

Its the same pate like stuff, they did have kitten Natures Menu at first but my adult cats used to eat theirs and vice versa so now I buy all adult - doesnt seem to be much difference.

Re: Natures Menu

well they ate the adult stuff fine for the first 2 meals and then been taking ages to eat in several trips to the food bowl

hi-life was on offer when i popped into waitrose for some milk so i got a box and been mixing a little of that in and they've been wolfing the food down!

i have to say though that the natures menu adult pouches do seem a bit dry compared to the kitten pouches

Re: Natures Menu

Actually I do prefer the look of Hi-life now! I've stopped feeding them Natures Menu cos of the stink of their poopies lol They are on 100% applaws dry at the moment and the litter tray has been alot more pleasant! lol I am going to try and introduce hi-life though as one of my kitties loves wet and not so keen on dry.

Re: Natures Menu

yes i think the hi-life looks nicer too, also easier to get hold of!

not sure yet what we'll do foodwise when the adult natures menu is gone.

no smelly poo yet but candy did get smelly poo and awful wind with purely pouches

Re: Natures Menu

I go for Naturals menus because its 100g sachets where as Hi life is 85g i'm so tight why don't you go to your nearest pet shop and ask them to order it in for you every week that's what i do so i never struggle to get it

lol yeah Tia used to have awful wind with NM too - I actually bought some Feline Fayre this morning for my adult cats and they seem to be liking that and its so cheap in comparison to Hi-Life so I may well try them on that for a while to see how they get on.

It is tempting to get hi-life though as its more readily available.
