IMO that seller needs some feline education quick sharp, no way should they be letting a kitten go that young but if you are a first time owner you are not to know. These people have no idea whatsoever and just want to get shut of them at the earliest opportunity, grrrrrrrrrrrr.

How's he doing Sweetpea? Did you take him to the vet this evening? Sending cyber purrs and positive thoughts - hope he will recover. Well done for looking after him and spotting the signs. Shame on that seller/breeder.

And the best thing of all you can do from that kitten now he has been wormed is to keep him hydrated. Dehydration can kill your kitten in a matter of hours, and at that age he's not likely to keep himself hydrated.
Good luck. Let us know!

Re: new kitten still ill - can it die from worms?

Big thank you to everyone who has been posting on this. Kitten was recommended to have drip overnight at a cost of over £300, which we couldn't afford. Instead we have got the hydration stuff again and have been syringing it in every 30-60 mins = appears much brighter this morning and eating!!!!! Yippee!!!!! He has had another shot of antibiotics too and we need to take a poo sample, showing what i think are worms. I am no absoutely knackered but extremely happy he looks so much better We are going to continue today, as I am off work myself poorly, and hopefully he will continue to improve. Everyone in vets last night gave him alot of attention and if I can work out this photo thing, I will post a photo. Seller rang me last night too and I think she is going to refund me, which is really wonderful as it will help to cover all of these vet bills I was wondering if we would have to put him down, so it's smiles all around here now.

Well done for all the effort you have put in for the kit, you deserve good news and he is lucky to have such a responsible new owner (clapping)

Re: new kitten still ill - can it die from worms?

Great news Sweatpea, i'm so glad to come on this morning and read this. Your kitten is so lucky to have such a loving & dedicated owner
Glad the seller has seen sense and refunding you, thats the least she should be doing in my opinion, but thats another story. I take it you did'nt get the 6 weeks free insurance with your baby? £300 is a lot, as said, it does depend where you live I guess.
Keep up the good work, can't wait to see some pikkies
